Wajibat

Wajibar are those items that are necessary to complete the Salat. If one misses any one of them unknowingly, this mistake can be compensated by performing SAJDA SAHW (Sajdah done for mistakes made unknowingly).

If one does not perform SAJDA SAHW or if one misses a Wajib knowingly, it is necessary to perform that Namaaz all over again. 

1) Fixing first 2 Rakats of the Fard for Qirat. 

2) Recite Surah Fatiha in all the Rakat of every Salat. However, in 3rd and 4th Rakat of any Fard Salat, it is Sunnah and not Wajib.

3) Recite a Surah or a lengthy Aayat or three small Aayats after Surah Fatiha in the first 2 Rakat of Fard Salat and in all the Rakat of Wajib, Sunnah, Nafil Salat

4) Read Surah Fatiha before any other Surah or Aya. 

5) Maintain order between Qirat, Ruku, Sajda and Rakat. 

6) Qauma (Standing up erect after Ruku). 

7)  JALSA (Sitting between the two Sajdas). 

8) Ta'deele Arkan, i.e., performing Ruku, Sajda, etc. with contentment and in a good way. 

9) Qaadah Oola or sitting to the extent of saying Tashahud after 2 Rakat in Salat of 3 or 4 Rakat. 

10) Read Tashahud in 2 Qa'daas. 

11) Recite Qirat aloud in Fajr, Maghreb, Esha, Jumuah, Eidain and Taraaweeh Salat in Ramadan by the Imam. The Imam should recite Zuhr, Asr Salat silently. 

12) End Salat by saying Salam. 

13) To say Takbeer (Allahu-Akbar) for Qunoot in Witr Salat and also recite Dua Qunoot

14) To say 6 additional Takbeer in both Eid Salat.
