Supplications
سُبۡحٰنَكَ لَا عِلۡمَ لَنَآ اِلَّا مَا عَلَّمۡتَنَا اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَلِيۡمُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ
SUBHAANAKA LAA 'ILMA LANAAA ILLAA MAA 'ALLAMTANAAA INNAKA ANTAL'ALEEMUL HAKEEM
To You belong all purity We have no knowledge except what You have given us. Surely, You alone are all-knowing, all-wise
Al Baqara (2) - 32
Angels said when Allah created Adam (AS)
اَعُوۡذُ بِاللّٰهِ اَنۡ اَكُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡجٰـهِلِيۡنَ
A'OOZU BILLAAHI AN AKOONA MINAL JAAHILEEN
I seek refuge with Allah that I be one of the ignorant
Al Baqara (2) - 67
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلۡ مِنَّا اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ
RABBANAA TAQABBAL MINNAA INNAKA ANTAS SAMEE'UL ALEEM
Our Lord accepts from us! Indeed, You and You alone are All Hearing, the All Knowing
Ibrahim (AS) and Ismael (AS) dua while building Ka'ba
رَبَّنَا وَاجۡعَلۡنَا مُسۡلِمَيۡنِ لَـكَ وَ مِنۡ ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ اُمَّةً مُّسۡلِمَةً لَّكَ وَاَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبۡ عَلَيۡنَا اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيۡمُ
RABBANAA WAJ'ALNAA MUSLIMAINI LAKA WA MIN ZURRIYYATINAAA UMMATAM MUSLIMATAL LAKA WA ARINAA MANAASIKANAA WA TUB 'ALAINAA INNAKA ANTAT TAWWAABUR RAHEEM
Our Lord, make us both submissive to You, and of our progeny people submissive to You. And show us our ways of Pilgrimage and accept our repentance. Indeed, You and You alone are the Most Relenting, the Very Merciful
Al Baqara (2) - 127, 128
Ibrahim (AS) dua for Allah fear and recognition, after completing actions and for children obedience
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ
INNA LILLAAHI WA INNAAA ILAIHI RAAJI'OON
Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return
Al Baqara (2) - 156
To be recited in times of stress or difficulties
وَ اِلٰهُكُمْ اِلٰهٌ وَّاحِدٌ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُو َ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِيمْ
WA ILAAHUKUM ILLAAHUNW WAAHID, LAAA ILAAHA ILLAA HUWAR RAHMAANUR RAHEEM
And your Allah is one Allah, there is none worthy of worship but He, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Al Baqara (2) - 163
رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِى الدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
3) RABBANAAA AATINA FID DUNYAA HASANATANW WA FIL AAKHIRATI HASANATANW WA QINAA AZAABAN NAAR
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of Fire
Al Baqara (2) - 201
Rasool Allah (SAW) used to recite this dua very often. Masnun dua during Tawaf.
رَبَّنَآ اَفۡرِغۡ عَلَيۡنَا صَبۡرًا وَّثَبِّتۡ اَقۡدَامَنَا وَانۡصُرۡنَا عَلَى الۡقَوۡمِ الۡکٰفِرِيۡنَ
4) RABBANAAA AFRIGH 'ALAINAA SABRANW WA SABBIT AQDAAMANAA WANSURNAA 'ALAL QAWMIL KAAFIREEN
Our Lord, pour out patience on us, make firm our feet and help us against the disbelieving people
Al Baqara (2) - 250
Dua of army of believers against Jalut
سَمِعۡنَا وَاَطَعۡنَا غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ
SAMI'NAA WA ATA'NAA GHUFRAANAKA RABBANAA WA ILAIKAL-MASEER
We have listened, and obeyed. Our Lord, Your pardon! And to You is the return
Al Baqara (2) - 285
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَاۤ اِنۡ نَّسِيۡنَاۤ اَوۡ اَخۡطَاۡنَا
5) RABBANAA LAA TU'AAKHIZNAAA IN NASEENAAA AW AKHTAANAA;
Our Lord do not hold us accountable, if we forget or make a mistake.
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَاۤ اِصۡرًا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهٗ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِنَا
6) RABBANAA LAA TU'AAKHIZNAAA IN NASEENAAA AW AKHTAANAA;
Our Lord, do not place on us a burden such as You have placed on those before us.
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖ وَاعۡفُ عَنَّا وَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا اَنۡتَ مَوۡلٰٮنَا فَانۡصُرۡنَا عَلَى الۡقَوۡمِ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ
7) RABBANAA WA LAA TUHAMMILNAA MAA LAA TAAQATA LANAA BIH; WA'FU 'ANNAA WAGHFIR LANAA WARHAMNAA; ANTA MAWLAANAA FANSURNAA 'ALAL QAWMIL KAAFIREEN
And our Lord, do not make us bear that for which we have no strength. And pardon us. And grant us forgiveness. And have mercy on us. You are our Lord. Help us, then, against the disbelieving people.
Al Baqara (2) - 286
آلٓمَّ ۞ اَللهُ لٰآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّوُمُ۞
ALIF-LAAM-MEEEM ۞ ALLAAHU LAAA ILAAHA ILLAA HUWAL HAIYUL QAIYOOM ۞
Alf Laam Meem ۞ Allah it is, besides Whom there is non worthy of worship, Eternal Living, the Sustainer and Maintainer of all ۞
Aaal Imran (3) - 1, 2
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوۡبَنَا بَعۡدَ اِذۡ هَدَيۡتَنَا وَهَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ رَحۡمَةً اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ الۡوَهَّابُ
8) RABBANAA LAA TUZIGH QULOOBANAA BA'DA IZ HADAITANAA WA HAB LANAA MIL LADUNKA RAHMAH; INNAKA ANTAL WAHHAAB
Our Lord do not let our hearts go crooked after You have given us guidance and bestow upon us mercy from Your own. Surely, You, and You alone, are the Bestower.
Rasool Allah (SAW) used to recite this dua when awakening in the morning
رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوۡمٍ لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيۡهِ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُخۡلِفُ الۡمِيۡعَادَ
9) RABBANAAA INNAKA JAAMI 'UN-NAASI LI YAWMIL LAA RAIBAFEEH; INNAL LAAHA LAA YUKHLIFUL MEE'AAD
Our Lord, You are going to assemble all the people on a day in which there is no doubt. Verily, Allah does not go back on His promise
Aal Imran (3) - 8,9
رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوۡبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
10) RABBANAAA INNANAAA AAMANNAA FAGHFIR LANAA ZUNOOBANAA WA QINAA 'AZAABAN NAAR
Our Lord, surely. we have believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from punishment of the Fire.
Aal Imran (3) - 16
رَبِّ هَبۡ لِىۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً اِنَّكَ سَمِيۡعُ الدُّعَآءِ
1) RABBI HAB LEE MIL LADUNKA ZURRIYYATAN TAIYIBATAN INNAKA SAMEE'UD DU'AAA
My Lord, grant me from Your own (power) a goodly progeny. Verily, You are the listener of the prayer
Aal Imran (3) - 38
رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ وَاتَّبَعۡنَا الرَّسُوۡلَ فَاكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ الشّٰهِدِيۡنَ
11) RABBANAAA AAMANNAA BIMAAA ANZALTA WATTABA'NAR RASOOLA FAKTUBNAA MA'ASH SHAAHIDEEN
Our Lord, we have believed in what You have revealed, and we have followed the messenger. So, write us down with those who bear witness
Aal Imran (3) - 53
Dua of helpers of Isa (AS)
حَسۡبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعۡمَ الۡوَكِيۡلُ
HASBUNAL LAAHU WA NI'MALWAKEEL
Allah is all-sufficient for us, and the best one to trust in
Aal Imran (3) - 173
Dua of companions of Mohammad (SAW) in difficulties
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبۡحٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
13) RABBANAA MAA KHALAQTA HAAZA BAATILAN SUBHAANAKA FAQINAA 'AZAABAN NAAR
"Our Lord, You have not created all this in vain. We proclaim Your purity. So, save us from the punishment of Fire
رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّكَ مَنۡ تُدۡخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدۡ اَخۡزَيۡتَهٗ وَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَنۡصَارٍ
14) RABBANAAA INNAKA MAN TUDKHILIN NAARA FAQAD AKHZAI TAHOO WA MAA LIZZAALIMEENA MIN ANSAAR
Our Lord, whomsoever You admit into the Fire, You have disgraced him indeed. And for the unjust there are no supporters
رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّنَا سَمِعۡنَا مُنَادِيًا يُّنَادِىۡ لِلۡاِيۡمَانِ اَنۡ اٰمِنُوۡا بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَاٰمَنَّا
15) RABBANAA FAGHFIR LANAA ZUNOOBANAA WA KAFFIR 'ANNAA SAIYI AATINA WA TAWAFFANAA MA'AL ABRAAR
Our Lord, forgive us, then, our sins, and write off our evil deeds, and take us unto You with the righteous
رَبَّنَا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوۡبَنَا وَكَفِّرۡ عَنَّا سَيِّاٰتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الۡاَبۡرَارِ
16) RABBANAAA INNANAA SAMI'NAA MUNAADIYAI YUNAADEE LIL EEMAANI AN AAMINOO BI RABBIKUM FA AAMANNAA;
Our Lord, We heard a herald calling towards Faith: 'Believe in your Lord.' And We believed.
رَبَّنَا وَاٰتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلٰى رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخۡزِنَا يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِ اِنَّكَ لَا تُخۡلِفُ الۡمِيۡعَادَ
17) RABBANAA WA AATINAA MAA WA'ATTANAA 'ALAA RUSULIKA WA LAA TUKHZINAA YAWMAL QIYAAMAH; INNAKA LAA TUKHLIFUL MEE'AAD
our Lord, give us what You have promised us through Your messengers, and do not put us to disgrace on the Day of Doom. Surely you don’t go back on Your promise
Aal Imran (3) - 191, 192, 193, 194
Rasool Allah (SAW) used to recite last 10 ayat of Surah Aal Imran evry night
رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ الشّٰهِدِيۡنَ
18) RABBANAAA AAMANNAA FAKTUBNAA MA'ASH SHAAHIDEEN
Our Lord, we have come to believe. So, write us down along with those who bear witness
Al Maida (5) - 83
نَطۡمَعُ اَنۡ يُّدۡخِلَـنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ الۡقَوۡمِ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ
NATMA'U AI YUDKHILANAA RABUNAA MA'AL QAWMISAALIHEEN
We hope that our Lord will admit us in the company of the righteous people
Al Maida (5) - 85
رَبَّنَاۤ اَنۡزِلۡ عَلَيۡنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ تَكُوۡنُ لَـنَا عِيۡدًا لِّاَوَّلِنَا وَاٰخِرِنَا وَاٰيَةً مِّنۡكَ وَارۡزُقۡنَا وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الرّٰزِقِيۡنَ
19) RABBANAAA ANZIL 'ALAINAA MAAA'IDATAM MINAS SAMAAA'I TAKOONU LANAA 'EEDAL LI AWWALINAA WA AAKHIRINAA WA AAYATAM MINKA WARZUQNAA WA ANTA KHAIRUR RAAZIQEEN ۞
Allah, our Lord, send down to us spread from heaven which may be a happy occasion for us for all our generations present and future, and a sign from you, and give us provisions. And You are the best Giver of provisions.
Al Maida (5) - 114
Isa (AS) dua at the request of his helpers to send down food from skies for satisfaction
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَاۤ اَنۡفُسَنَا وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَتَرۡحَمۡنَا لَـنَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ
20) RABBANAA ZALAMNAAA ANFUSANAA WA ILLAM TAGHFIR LANAA WA TARHAMNAA LANAKOONANNA MINAL KHAASIREEN
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You don’t forgive us and don’t bless us with mercy, we shall, indeed, be among losers
Al A'raaf (7) - 23
Adam (AS) dua when he was sent to earth
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا مَعَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
21) RABBANAA LAA TAJ'ALNAA MA'AL QAWMIZ ZAALIMEEN
Our Lord, don’t put us in the company of unjust people
Al A'raaf (7) - 47
Dua of people of A'raaf
رَبَّنَا افۡتَحۡ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَ قَوۡمِنَا بِالۡحَـقِّ وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡفٰتِحِيۡنَ
22) RABBANAF TAH BAINANAA WA BAINA QAWMINAA BILHAQQI WA ANTA KHAIRUL FAATIHEEN
Our Lord, decide between us and our people, with truth, and You are the best of all judges
Al A'raaf (7) - 89
Dua of Shoaib (AS)
رَبَّنَاۤ اَفۡرِغۡ عَلَيۡنَا صَبۡرًا وَّتَوَفَّنَا مُسۡلِمِيۡنَ
23) RABBANAAA AFRIGH 'ALAINAA SABRANW WA TAWAFFANAA MUSLIMEEN
our Lord, pour out patience upon us and let the death take us while we are Muslims
Al A'raaf (7) - 126
Dua of magicians who believed Musa (AS)
رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡ لِىۡ وَلِاَخِىۡ وَ اَدۡخِلۡنَا فِىۡ رَحۡمَتِكَ وَاَنۡتَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ
2) RABBIGHFIRLEE WA LI AKHEE WA ADKHILNAA FEE RAHMATIKA WA ANTA ARHAMUR RAAHIMEEN
My Lord forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy. And You are most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
Al A'raaf (7)- 151
اَنۡتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡغَافِرِيۡنَ ۞وَاكۡتُبۡ لَـنَا فِىۡ هٰذِهِ الدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ اِنَّا هُدۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ
ANTA WALIYYUNAA FAGHFIR LANAA WARHAMNAA WA ANTA KHAIRUL GHAAFIREEN ۞ WAKTUB LANAA FEE HAAZI HID DUNYAA HASANATANW WA FIL AAKHIRATI INNAA HUDNAAA ILAIK
You are our protector, so forgive us, and have mercy on us and You are the best among those who forgive. ۞ And write for us good in this world and in the Hereafter. We turn to You in repentance."
Al A'raaf (7) - 155, 156
حَسۡبِىَ اللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ
HASBIYAL LAAHU LAAA ILAAHA ILLAA HUWA 'ALAIHI TAWAKKKALTU WA HUWA RABBUL 'ARSHIL 'AZEEM
There is no god but He In Him I have placed my trust and He is the Lord of the Great Throne"
At Tawba (9) - 129
يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُمۡ مَّوۡعِظَةٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكُمۡ وَشِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِى الصُّدُوۡرِوَهُدًى وَّرَحۡمَةٌ لِّـلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ
YAAA AIYUHAN NAASU QAD JAAA'ATKUM MAW'IZATUN MIR RABBIKUM WA SHIFAAA'UL LIMAA FIS SUDOORI WA HUDANW WA RAHMATUL LIL MU'MINEEN
O men, there has come to you an advice from your Lord, and cure for what is in your hearts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.
Yunus (10) - 57
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا فِتۡنَةً لِّـلۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ ۞ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحۡمَتِكَ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ ۞
24) RABANAA LAA TAJ'ALNAA FITNATAL LILQAWMIZ ZAALIMEEN ۞ WA NAJJINAA BIRAHMATIKA MINAL QAWMIL KAAFIREEN ۞
Our Lord, don’t make us a victim of the unjust people ۞ and save us, through Your Mercy, from disbelieving people ۞
Al Yunus (10) - 85, 86
Dua of people of Musa (AS)
رَبِّ اِنِّىۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِكَ اَنۡ اَسۡـئَلَكَ مَا لَـيۡسَ لِىۡ بِهٖ عِلۡمٌوَاِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِىۡ وَتَرۡحَمۡنِىۡۤ اَكُنۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ
3) RABBI INNEEE A'OOZU BIKA AN AS'ALAKA MAA LAISA LEE BIHEE 'ILMUNW WA ILLAA TAGHFIR LEE WA TARHAMNEEE AKUM MINAL KHAASIREEN
My Lord, I seek refuge with You against that I ask You something of which I have no knowledge. And if You do not forgive me and do not show mercy to me, I shall be among the losers
Hud (11) - 47
رَبِّ قَدۡ اٰتَيۡتَنِىۡ مِنَ الۡمُلۡكِ وَ عَلَّمۡتَنِىۡ مِنۡ تَاۡوِيۡلِ الۡاَحَادِيۡثِ فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ اَنۡتَ وَلِىّٖ فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِىۡ مُسۡلِمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِىۡ بِالصّٰلِحِيۡنَ
4) RABBI QAD AATAITANEE MINAL MULKI WA 'ALLAMTANEE MIN TAAWEELIL AHAADEES; FAATI RAS SAMAAWAATI WAL ARDI ANTA WALIYYEE FID DUNYAA WAL AAKHIRATI TAWAFFANEE MUSLIMANW WA ALHIQNEE BISSAALIHEEN
My Lord, You have given me some power to rule and a knowledge of interpreting events. the Creator of the heavens and the Earth, You are my guardian in this world and the Hereafter. Make me die a Muslim and make me join the righteous
Yusuf (12) - 101
Dua of Yusuf (AS)
رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّكَ تَعۡلَمُ مَا نُخۡفِىۡ وَمَا نُعۡلِنُ وَمَا يَخۡفٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَا فِى السَّمَآءِ
25) RABANAAA INAKA TA'LAMU MAA NUKHFEE WAMAA NU'LIN; WAMAA YAKHFAA 'ALAL LAAHI MIN SHAI'IN FIL ARDI WALAA FIS SAMAAA
Our Lord, surely You know what we conceal and what we reveal. And hidden from Allah is nothing whatsoever, neither in earth nor in heavens
Ibrahim (14) - 38
Dua of Ibrahim (AS) when leaving Ismail (AS) and mother in barren land
رَبِّ اجۡعَلۡنِىۡ مُقِيۡمَ الصَّلٰوةِ وَمِنۡ ذُرِّيَّتِىۡ
5) RABBIJ 'ALNEE MUQEEMAS SALAATI WA MIN ZURRIYYATEE
My Lord, make me steadfast in Salah, and from among my children as well.
Ibrahim (14) - 40
رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ
26) RABBANAA WA TAQABBAL DU'AAA
Our Lord! Accept my prayers.
Ibrahim (14) - 40
رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لِىۡ وَلـِوَالِدَىَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ يَوۡمَ يَقُوۡمُ الۡحِسَابُ
27) RABBANAGH FIR LEE WA LIWAALIDAIYA WA LILMU'MINEENA YAWMA YAQOOMUL HISAAB
Our Lord, grant my prayer. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and all believers on the day when reckoning shall take place
Ibrahim (14) - 41
Dua of Ibrahim (AS)
رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيٰنِىۡ صَغِيۡرًا
6) RABBIR HAMHUMAA KAMAA RABBAYAANEE SAGHEERA
My Lord, be merciful to them as they have brought me up in my childhood
Al Israa (17) - 24
Dua for parents
رَّبِّ اَدۡخِلۡنِىۡ مُدۡخَلَ صِدۡقٍ وَّ اَخۡرِجۡنِىۡ مُخۡرَجَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاجۡعَلْ لِّىۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ سُلۡطٰنًا نَّصِيۡرًا
7) RABI ADKHILNEE MUDKHALA SIDQINW WA AKHRIJNEE MUKHRAJA SIDQINW WAJ'AL LEE MILADUNKA SULTAANAN NASEERAA
My Lord, make me enter a rightful entrance and make me exit a rightful exit, and grant me from Your Own a power, favoured
Al Israa (17) - 80
Dua of Mohammad (SAW) while immigration
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الۡـقُرۡاٰنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَّرَحۡمَةٌ لِّـلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ وَلَا يَزِيۡدُ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ اِلَّا خَسَارًا
WA NUNAZILU MINAL QURAANI MAAHUWA SHIFAAA'UNW WA RAHMATULIL MU'MINEENA WALAA YAZEEDUZ ZAALIMEENA ILLAA KHASAARAA
And We reveal the Qur'an which is cure and mercy for the believers. And it adds nothing to the unjust but loss
Al Isra (17) - 82
Dua for sickness
الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ لَمۡ يَتَّخِذۡ وَلَدًا وَّلَمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهٗ شَرِيۡكٌ فِى الۡمُلۡكِ وَلَمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهٗ وَلِىٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرۡهُ تَكۡبِيۡرً
HAMDU LILLAAHIL LAZEE LAM YATTAKHIZ WALADANW WA LAM YAKUL LAHOO SHAREEKUN FIL MULKI WA LAM YAKUL LAHOO WALIYYUM MINAZ ZULLI WA KABBIRHU TAKBEERAA
Praise belongs to Allah who has neither taken to Him a son, nor is there any partner to Him in His kingdom, nor is anyone
Al Isra (17) - 111
Dua for honour
رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ رَحۡمَةً وَّهَيِّئۡ لَـنَا مِنۡ اَمۡرِنَا رَشَدًا
28) RABBANAAA AATINAA MILADUNKA RAHMATANW WA HAIYI' LANAA MIN AMRINAA RASHADAA
Our Lord, bless us with mercy from Your own and pro-vide us with guidance in our matters
Al Kahf (18) - 10
Dua of companions of cave
مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
MAA SHAAA'AL LAAHU LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAAH
as Allah wills. There is no power except with Allah
Al Kahf (18) - 39
Dua of people of garden
رَبِّ اشۡرَحۡ لِىۡ صَدۡرِىْ ۞ وَيَسِّرۡ لِىۡۤ اَمۡرِىْ ۞ وَاحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةً مِّنۡ لِّسَانِیْ ۞ يَفۡقَهُوۡا قَوۡلِیْ ۞
8) RABBISH RAH LEE SADREE ۞ WA YASSIR LEEE AMREE ۞ WAHLUL 'UQDATAN MILLI SAANEE ۞ YAFQAHOO QAWLEE ۞
He said, "My Lord, put my heart at peace for me ۞ and make my task easy for me ۞ and remove knot from my tongue ۞ that they may understand my speech ۞
Taa Haa (20) - 25, 26, 27, 28
Dua of Musa (AS) before going to Pharoah
رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّـنَا نَخَافُ اَنۡ يَّفۡرُطَ عَلَيۡنَاۤ اَوۡ اَنۡ يَّطۡغٰى
29) RABBANAAA INNANAA NAKHAAFU AI YAFRUTA 'ALAINAAA AW AI YATGHAA
Our Lord, we are afraid he will hasten to commit excess against us, or will cross all bounds.
Taa Haa (20) - 45
Dua of Musa (AS) before going to Pharoah
مِنۡهَا خَلَقۡنٰكُمۡ وَفِيۡهَا نُعِيۡدُكُمۡ وَمِنۡهَا نُخۡرِجُكُمۡ تَارَةً اُخۡرٰى
MINHAA KHALAQNAAKUM WA FEEHAA NU'EEDUKUM WA MINHAA NUKHRIJUKUM TAARATAN UKHRAA
From this (earth) We created you and in this we shall put you back and from this We shall raise you up once again
Taa Haa (20) - 55
Dua Mohammad (SAW) recited this dua while putting Um Kulsum (RA) in grave
رَّبِّ زِدۡنِىۡ عِلۡمًا
9) RABBI ZIDNEE 'ILMAA
My Lord, improve me in knowledge
Taa Haa (20) - 114
لَّاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡتَ سُبۡحٰنَكَ اِنِّىۡ كُنۡتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
LAAA ILAAHA ILLAAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNEE KUNTU MINAZ ZAALIMEEN
None is worthy of worship but You. Glory be to You, Indeed I am among the wrongdoers” ۞
Al Anbiya (21) - 87
Yunus (AS) dua while he was in belly of fish
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرۡنِىۡ فَرۡدًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡوٰرِثِيۡنَ
10) RABBAHOO RABBI LAA TAZARNEE FARDANW WA ANTA KHAIRUL WAARISEEN
My Lord do not leave me alone and You are the best of inheritors
Al Anbiya (21) - 89
Dua of Zakariya (AS) for Yahya (AS)
رَبِّ احۡكُمۡ بِالۡحَـقِّ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحۡمٰنُ الۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلٰى مَا تَصِفُوۡنَ
11) RABBIH KUM BIL HAQQ; WA RABBUNAR RAHMAA NUL MUSTA'AANU 'ALAA MAA TASIFOON
My Lord, judge with truth. And Our Lord is Merciful, the One whose help is sought against what you describe
Al Anbiya (21) - 112
Dua of Mohammad (SAW) in battle
رَّبِّ اَنۡزِلۡنِىۡ مُنۡزَلًا مُّبٰـرَكًا وَّاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡمُنۡزِلِيۡنَ
12) RABBI ANZILNEE MUNZALAM MUBAARAKANW WA ANTA KHAIRUL MUNZILEEN
My Lord, make me land a blessed landing. And You are the best of those who bring to land
Al Muminoon (23) - 29
Dua of Nooh (AS)
رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنۡ هَمَزٰتِ الشَّيٰطِيۡنِ ۞ وَاَعُوۡذُ بِكَ رَبِّ اَنۡ يَّحۡضُرُوۡنِ ۞
13) RABBI A'OOZU BIKA MIN HAMAZAATISH SHAYAATEEN ۞ WA A'OOZU BIKA RABBI AI-YAHDUROON ۞
O my Lord, I seek your refuge from the strokes of the shaitans۞ and I seek Your refuge from that they come to me ۞
Al Muminoon (23) - 97, 98
Dua of Mohammad (SAW) for protection against Shaitan
رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ
30) RABBANAAA AAMANNAA FAGHFIR LANAA WARHAMNAA WA ANTA KHAIRUR RAAHIMEEN
Our Lord, we adhere to faith, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and you are the best of all merciful
Al Muminoon (23) - 109
Dua of group of Muslims on the day of Mahshr
رَّبِّ اغۡفِرۡ وَارۡحَمۡ وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ
14) RABBIGH FIR WARHAM WA ANTA KHAIRUR RAAHIMEEN
My Lord, forgive and have mercy and you are the best of all the merciful۞'
Al Muminoon (23) - 118
وَقَالَ الرَّسُوۡلُ يٰرَبِّ اِنَّ قَوۡمِى اتَّخَذُوۡا هٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنَ مَهۡجُوۡرًا
WA QAALAR RASOOLU YAA RABBI INNA QAWMIT TAKHAZOO HAAZAL QUR'AANA MAHJOORAA
And the messenger will say, " my Lord, my people had taken this Qur'an as a thing to be deserted
Al Furqan (25) - 30
Mohammad (SAW) complain people for not reciting Quran
رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَـنَا مِنۡ اَزۡوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ اَعۡيُنٍ وَّاجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ اِمَامًا
32) RABBANAA HAB LANAA MIN AZWAAJINAA WA ZURRIYAATINAA QURRATA A'YUNINW WAJ 'ALNAA LILMUTTAQEENA IMAAMAA
Our Lord, Give us, from our spouses and our children, coolness of eyes and make us heads of the God-fearing
Al Furqan (25) - 74
Dua for family
رَبِّ هَبۡ لِىۡ حُكۡمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِىۡ بِالصّٰلِحِيۡنَ ۞ وَاجۡعَلْ لِّىۡ لِسَانَ صِدۡقٍ فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ ۞ وَاجۡعَلۡنِىۡ مِنۡ وَّرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيۡمِ ۞
15) RABBI HAB LEE HUKMANW WA ALHIQNEE BIS SAALIHEEN ۞ WAJ'AL LEE LISAANA SIDQIN FIL AAKHIREEN ۞ WAJ'ALNEE MINW WARASATI JANNNATIN NA'EEM ۞
my Lord, give me wisdom and join me with the righteous, ۞ and destine for me a truthful description among next generations ۞ And make me among those who will inherit Garden of Bliss ۞
Ash Shura (26) - 83, 84, 85
رَبِّ نَجِّنِىۡ وَاَهۡلِىۡ مِمَّا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ
16) RABBI NAJJJINEE WA AHLEE MIMMMAA YA'MALOON
My Lord, save me and my family from what they do
Ash Shura (26) - 169
Dua of Loot (AS)
رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِىۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ الَّتِىۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلٰى وَالِدَىَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صَالِحًـا تَرۡضٰٮهُ وَاَدۡخِلۡنِىۡ بِرَحۡمَتِكَ فِىۡ عِبَادِكَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ
17) RABBI AWZI'NEE AN ASHKURA NI'MATA KAL LATEEE AN'AMTA 'ALAIYA WA 'ALAA WAALIDAIYA WA AN A'MALA SAALIHAN TARDAAHU WA ADKHILNEE BIRAHMATIKA FEE 'IBAADIKAS SAALIHEEN ۞
My Lord, enable me that I become grateful to Your favour that you have bestowed on me and on my parents and that I do the good deeds You like, and admit me, by Your mercy, among Your righteous slaves
An Naml (27) - 19
Dua of Sulaiman (AS)
رَبِّ اِنِّىۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِىۡ فَاغۡفِرۡ لِىۡ فَغَفَرَ لَهٗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِيۡمُ
18) RABBI INNEE ZALAMTU NAFSEE FAGHFIR LEE FAGHAFARALAH; INNAHOO HUWAL GHAFOORUR RAHEEM
My Lord, I have wronged myself, so forgive me." So He forgave him. Indeed He is the most Forgiving, Very-Merciful
Al Qasas (28) - 16
Dua of Musa (AS)
رَبِّ نَجِّنِىۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
19) RABBI NAJJINEE MINAL QAWMIZ ZAALIMEEN ۞
My Lord, save me from the cruel people
Al Qasas (28) - 21
Dua of Musa (AS)
رَبِّ اِنِّىۡ لِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ اِلَىَّ مِنۡ خَيۡرٍ فَقِيۡرٌ
20) RABBI INNEE LIMAAA ANZALTA ILAIYA MIN KHAIRIN FAQEER
My Lord, I am in need of whatever good you send down to me.
Al Qasas (28) - 24
Dua of Musa (AS)
رَبِّ انْصُرۡنِىۡ عَلَى الۡقَوۡمِ الۡمُفۡسِدِيۡنَ
21) RABBIN SURNEE 'ALAL QAWMIL MUFSIDEEN
My Lord, help me against the people who make mischief
Al Ankaboot (29) - 30
Dua of Loot (AS)
رَبَّنَا لَـغَفُوۡرٌ شَكُوۡرُ
33) RABBANAA LA GHAFOORUN SHAKOOR
Our Lord is Most-Forgiving, Very-Appreciative
Faatir (35) - 34
When dwellers of Jannah will be entering Jannah, they will recite this dua
رَبِّ هَبۡ لِىۡ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ
22) RABBI HAB LEE MINAS SAALIHEEN
my Lord, bless me with a righteous so
As Saaffaat (37) - 100
Dua of Ibrahim (AS)
سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوۡنَ ۞ وَسَلٰمٌ عَلَى الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَ ۞ وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ۞
SUBHAANA RABIKA RABBIL 'IZZATI 'AMMA YASIFOON ۞ WA SALAAMUN 'ALALMURSALEEN ۞ WALHAMDU LILLAAHI RABBIL 'AALAMEEN ۞
Pure is your Lord, Lord of all might and honor, from what they describe ۞ and salam be on messengers ۞ and praised is Allah, Lord of all worlds ۞
As Saaffaat (37) - 181, 182, 183
Dua recited at the end of any conversations
رَبَّنَا وَسِعۡتَ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ رَّحۡمَةً وَّعِلۡمًا فَاغۡفِرۡ لِلَّذِيۡنَ تَابُوۡا وَاتَّبَعُوۡا سَبِيۡلَكَ وَقِهِمۡ عَذَابَ الۡجَحِيۡمِ
34) RABBANAA WASI'TA KULLA SHAI'IR RAHMATANW WA 'ILMAN FAGHFIR LILLAZEENA TAABOO WATTABA'OO SABEELAKA WA QIHIM 'AZAABAL JAHEEM
"Our Lord, Your mercy and knowledge comprehends everything, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and save them from the punishment of the Fire
رَبَّنَا وَاَدۡخِلۡهُمۡ جَنّٰتِ عَدۡنِ لَّتِىۡ وَعَدْتَّهُمۡ وَمَنۡ صَلَحَ مِنۡ اٰبَآئِهِمۡ وَاَزۡوَاجِهِمۡ وَذُرِّيّٰتِهِمۡ اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ ۞ وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّاٰتِ وَمَنۡ تَقِ السَّيِّاٰتِ يَوۡمَئِذٍ فَقَدۡ رَحِمۡتَهٗ وَذٰ لِكَ هُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِيۡمُ ۞
35) RABBANNAA WA ADKHILHUM JANNAATI 'ADNINIL LATEE WA'ATTAHUM WA MAN SALAHA MIN AABAAA'IHIM WA AZWAAJIHIM WA ZURRIYYAATIHIM; INNAKA ANTAL 'AZEEZUL HAKEEM ۞ WA QIHIMUS SAIYI-AAT; WA MAN TAQIS SAIYI-AATI YAWMA'IZIN FAQAD RAHIMTAH; WA ZAALIKA HUWAL FAWZUL 'AZEEM ۞
And, our Lord, admit them to the eternal gardens of Jannah that You have promised for them, and (admit) those as well who did good from among their fathers and wives and children. You, only You, are the Mighty, the Wise, and save them from evils (of punishment) ۞ And whomsoever you save from evils that day, it is surely because you bless him with mercy. And that is the great achievement indeed ۞
Al Ghaafir (40) - 7, 8, 9
Dua of Angels who are holding Throne of Allah
فَسَتَذۡكُرُوۡنَ مَاۤ اَقُوۡلُ لَـكُمۡ وَاُفَوِّضُ اَمۡرِىۡۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بَصِيۡرٌۢ بِالۡعِبَادِ
FASATAZKUROONA MAAA AQOOLU LAKUM; WA UFAWWIDU AMREEE ILAL LAAH; INNALLAAHA BASEERUM BIL'IBAAD
Soon you will remember what I am saying to you. And I entrust my matter with Allah. Surely, Allah has all servants in sight
Al Ghaffir (40) - 44
Dua of believer from the family of Pharoah
رَبَّنَا اكۡشِفۡ عَنَّا الۡعَذَابَ اِنَّا مُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
36) RABBANAK SHIF 'ANNAL 'AZAABA INNAA MU'MINOON
Our Lord, remove from us the punishment; we will truly believe.
Ad Dukhaan (44) - 12
رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِىۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ الَّتِىۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلٰى وَالِدَىَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرۡضٰٮهُ وَاَصۡلِحۡ لِىۡ فِىۡ ذُرِّيَّتِىۡ اِنِّىۡ تُبۡتُ اِلَيۡكَ وَاِنِّىۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِيۡنَ
23) RABBI AWZI' NEEE AN ASHKURA NI'MATAKAL LATEEE AN'AMTA 'ALAIYA WA 'ALAA WAALIDAIYA WA AN A'MALA SAALIHAN TARDAAHU WA ASLIH LEE FEE ZURRIYYATEE; INNEE TUBTU ILAIKA WA INNEE MINAL MUSLIMEEN
My Lord, grant me that I offer gratitude for the favor You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I do righteous deeds that You like. And grant for my benefit goodness in my progeny. Of course, I repent to you, and truly I am one of those who submit to You."
Al Ahqaf (46) - 15
رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَلِاِخۡوَانِنَا الَّذِيۡنَ سَبَقُوۡنَا بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ وَلَا تَجۡعَلۡ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّكَ رَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِيۡم
37) RABBANAGH FIR LANAA WA LI IKHWAANI NAL LAZEENA SABQOONAA BIL EEMAANI WA LAA TAJ'AL FEE QULOOBINAA GHILLALIL LAZEENA AAMANOO RABBANNAAA INNAKA RA'OOFUR RAHEEM ۞
Our Lord, forgive us and those of our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any rancor against those who believe; Surely, Our Lord, you are Very-Kind, Very-Merciful
Al Hashr (59) - 10
Dua to keep hearts clean for brothers
رَبَّنَا عَلَيۡكَ تَوَكَّلۡنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ اَنَـبۡنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ
38) RABBANAA 'ALAIKA TAWAKKALNAA WA ILAIKA ANABNAA WA ILAIKAL MASEER
our Lord, in you alone we trust, and to you alone we turn for help, and to you is the final return.
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا فِتۡنَةً لِّلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَاغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا رَبَّنَا اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ
39) RABBANA LAA TAJ'ALNAA FITNATAL LILLAZEENA KAFAROO WAGHFIR LANAA RABBANAA INNAKA ANTAL AZEEZUL HAKEEM
Our Lord, do not make us persecuted by those who disbelieve, and forgive us, our Lord! You, only You, are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Al Mumtahana (60) - 4, 5
Dua of Ibrahim (AS)
رَبَّنَاۤ اَ تۡمِمۡ لَـنَا نُوۡرَنَا وَاغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا ۚ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ
40) RABBANAAA ATMIM LANAA NOORANAA WAGHFIR LANA INNAKA 'ALAA KULLI SHAI'IN QADEER
Our Lord, perfect for us our light, and forgive us. Indeed you are powerful over everything
Al Tahrim (66) - 8
Dua to get lightened Iman from Allah
رَبِّ ابۡنِ لِىۡ عِنۡدَكَ بَيۡتًا فِى الۡجَـنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِىۡ مِنۡ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَعَمَلِهٖ وَنَجِّنِىۡ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
24) RAB BIBNI LEE 'INDAKA BAITAN FIL JANNATI WA NAJJINEE MIN FIR'AWNA WA 'AMALIHEE WA NAJJINEE MINAL QAWMIZ ZAALIMEEN
My Lord, build for me, near You, a house in the Paradize, and deliver me from Fir'aun and his deeds, and deliver me from the unjust people
At Tahrim (66) - 11
Dua of wife of Pharoah
رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡلِىۡ وَلِـوَالِدَىَّ وَلِمَنۡ دَخَلَ بَيۡتِىَ مُؤۡمِنًا وَّلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ اِلَّا تَبَارًا
25) RABBIGH FIRLEE WA LIWAA LIDAIYA WA LIMAN DAKHALA BAITIYA MU'MINANW WA LIL MU'MINEENA WAL MU'MINAATI WA LAA TAZIDIZ ZAALIMEENA ILLAA TABAARAA
My Lord, grant pardon to me, and to my parents, and to everyone who enters my home as a believer, and to all the believing men and believing women, and do not increase the wrongdoers but in ruin
Nooh (71) - 28
